Yeah so this is basically the entire extra cast from Tokyo Ghost Trip - every one who wasn't the main household. Ridiculous. 

I'm going to keep this brief because I couldn't really care less about reviewing this awful drama, but I started the page for it so I want to publish it and get it out of the way before I write the next one for Mahoro.

As you probably know, if you read this stupid site of mine, I like late night terrible dramas. This was terrible. And late night. And terrible.

Some clan of Shinobi ninja were called in to school to help them win various competitions against the underhanded plans of the rival school. They fight it our between themselves as they become to realise that the rival school is also backed by a rival ninja clan.

Its a pretty stupid premise for a drama. It is a pretty stupid drama. It's main characters aren't particularly likable, the story doesn't really go anywhere accept for when it is going somewhere totally predictable BUT that is not what you look for in these kind of dramas is it? Originality and suspense get left at the door with the shoes. Put on your comfy predictable pointless story line house slippers and make some coffee. 

We'll be up until 26 o clock in the morning - because apparently that non existing time is the only worm hole fit for these dramas - so brew that coffee and stay up all night watching this pointle sh*t in one go. 

You might not be bothered to finish it if you don't. 

And through your coffee tireds you can dupe yourself into believing you feel for the characters and care where the story is going. You may even cry at the end. That will just be the coffee tireds though. 

Nothing much happens in the drama. There is a little dying girl in hospital - the sister of rival clam - i mean clan - who befriends Kojiro, all goes nowhere for a while and then ends appropriately teary and pointlessly. 

The fighting is like watching kids in the playground playing with sticks. Well, essentially that is what is happening. They are doing exactly that.

I cant get across just how bad this is so I guess you will just have to suffer it yourself. ^^

Piece ピース [series]

Watching this drama made me realise I never reviewed Koishite Akuma, I thought I had...

So, formatting on here has been a nightmare, so don't expect these pages to look neat anymore. I'm done with it. Its driving me crazy trying to make it work for me. 

This drama isn't worth my stress anyway.

It wasn't exactly bad, but the first few episodes it could do without entirely. 

I don't really understand why they built a drama around such unlikable characters...

I should start at the beginning instead of ranting from the end I guess.

I was a little worried when I sat down to watch this random series I had aquired, 

when I saw that it's main peoples were cotton-teeth vampire girl Honda Tsubasa and skeleton face vampire boy Nakayama Yuma. 

I had a moment of 'maybe I should just finish watching Rebound instead' but for some insane reason I decided to watch a drama I wasn't likely to get that emotionally invested in due to it being sh*t.

Ah that is a little harsh I guess but jeez they made mountains out of mole hills. 

Nakayama is great as a moody messed up scowly bony misunderstood psychological experiment of his unfeeling science-mom - 

oh I should point out, I'm going to be filling this whole review with spoilers 

because the plot synopsis would be so boring if I say only the beginning. 

In fact, lets ignore the beginning and I'll just start from the middle. This unsure, indecisive, cold seeming girl and this idiot arrogant psych-mom experiment excuse for a boy become sort of friends or partners or whatever their sick-ass connection really is - no-one seems to know right through till the very end...

He is in bed with every girl he can as he is all messed up by psycho-science-mom and she is just ...an idiot.

There is nothing likable about her at all. Not the best choice for a leading character. 

Especially as she narrates through the entire thing with her simpering pathetic attempt at existential self reflection literally every 30 seconds.

Lots of stuff happened around her that she was totally unaware of and through the death of her classmate she comes to retrace those unknown footsteps of her high school years.

The dead girl - yankumi-chibi as I like to call her - has been the most misunderstood by all; 

and a scooby gang of idiots begins to form as they search to find this ever elusive ex boyfriend they believe is hidden in the unknown past which distresses the grieving mother at the funeral.

Its all pretty tenuous but they all get involved - turns out they were all involved anyway - all their secrets come out -

a pregnancy, iron bar beating and a few destroyed paintings later 

and everyone's stories are told but no-one ever goes back to tell the mother what happened in the end. 

Stoopid.

...I don't think this guy is too pleased.... though.... can you ever tell?

The last few episodes are definitely more watchable than the first few. Start from, like, ep4 or something. Or just not at all. I should've watched Rebound. Aibu Saki is such cute as chubs.

Vampire Heaven ヴァンパイア・ヘヴン [series]

So its another late night cheapo stupid story line low budget boredom drama full of gay hints and piss poor character development. Just they way it should be. I am beginning to really love the late night series'. They are so easy to watch. I was never the same after Princess princess D.

So we are basically following two vampire girls on the run from some big cheesy cloak wearing count, and they escape into the human world only to be snared by the charms of none other than naked operations in space man  Teru  himself Hiraoka Yuta - well, Hayato. 

He is a bit useless, as Hiraoka plays best i guess, but Sakurako and eventually Komachi begin to form a fobidden human/vampire bond with the waste of space excuse for a surgeon - i mean musician - he's not a naked space surgeon in this. 

He is essentially the same character but without the nakedness and surgery and genius.

The girls are aided in their stay in the human world by a handful of people and  threatened by the would-be girlfriend of Hayato and the cloaky camp as chips count. I'm not really even sure why he's after them, I think Sakurako was betrothed to him or something? I wasn't really paying much attention at the beginning. I'm still not really.

I should add, Honda has such an overbite that she really cant talk with her fangs on. It's ridiculous.

As we wind up to close the drama all the secrets come out. But not before we have some near death moments for all of the scooby gang.

Its a pretty sh*t late night cheapo crappy drama, totally predictable and worth watching to stem the tides of boredom or washing up - whichever you are trying to avoid.
