i hear another "spend all day watching one series" coming...
ok, the first thing i noticed was taguchi's hair. how could you not? im surprised he never had a plane land on him it was like a homing beacon.
here is the main cast:

yokoyama yu ♥ - seishiro

kaga takeshi - police commissioner shochikubai tokimune
the police commissioner is miroku's bumbling dad. the constantly bored group of teens solve all his cases for him he always looks like the genius police chief that he should be
miroku is a sweet guy really, covering for his idiot dad and not letting on that yukan club were always involved.
i like the little bakanishi moments but there werent enough of them. we can always do with more of his sillyness and dry humour.
but miroku was a likeable character as was granmarie. taguchi was as funny as ever - i can see why he was cast here.
with akanishi biting at him with the odd comment here and there, it felt like familiar kat-tun shinanigans at times.
i really liked noriko - im not sure why, but her surprised and unamused expression made me laugh a lot so it was probably that.
its pretty stupid. but fun. and koyama keiichiro is in an episode. i nearly lost it when he turned up suddenly. he saves the day all hero like, does some dodgey dealings and gets beaten up loads. awesome.
noriko doesnt like men at all. in comes yuya (koyama) and bam she feels the love (well you would wouldnt you)
there are some pretty funny moments, one i have to mention; seeing taguchi, yokoyama and akanishi in drag was hysterical. infact that whole episode was really funny. the police chief was completely retarded ...taguchi actually looked pretty damn cute.
the fighting was awful. the only good fight scenes were koyama's and he was only in one ep. when akanishi fought it was dire and yuri's flying kicks were so stupid that yukan club just about held on to that anime/manga feel of being completely over the top.
it was very easy to watch, no great tension just an abundance of daft behaviour and cheesey crimes or problems to solve. fun enough to waste a day and go to bed far too late.
