mystery 6 [series]

i believe the phrase i came out with was 'they sh*t my pants for me'
though im not sure what i meant by that.

ok, so ive seen a lot of super junior on tv.
ive wasted weeks and weeks of watching the guys
messing about and acting like idiots.

there is no shortage of that in mystery 6
even though the setting is really spooky.

mystery 6 is a program about ghosts and ghosty things.
super junior feature on the show due to how one member
donghae has been having nightmares and seeing/feeling
ghosty type things since they moved into their new apartments.

mystery 6 follows them around with a camera team
for 5 weeks and has a load of cctv cameras installed
in their rooms to see if they can catch any weird stuff on camera.
each program after the first covers a week of happenings.

there is lots of footage of the guys just being
the general d*cks that they usually are on reality
and variety shows, pretending to be reporters
with the cameras and playing up for the sake of it.
(mainly heechul and kangin as you would expect)

as time goes on the other members start to see
weird things too and freak each other out quite alot.
heechul takes great pleasure in winding everyone up constantly
but also still looking a little freaked out aswell at times.
the cameras follow the guys on their schedules
and capture a few creepy things that happen outside
of donghae's supposed haunted room.
(including him nearly drowning which was horrible)

donghae starts to get really withdrawn and stressed
about the whole thing and as they discover more about
the previous tennants in his apartment they think it could
actually be some dangerous spirit hounding donghae.

the episodes are only half an hour long each,
i recommend watching the whole thing in one go like a film.
there are only 6 episodes and it feels
like a korean horror film with all the reconstructions
and stuff with the really majorly scarey ghosts
that the
mystery 6 program cuts inbetween the continuing footage of super junior.

the ghost in the reconstruction of donghae's dreams
(and later also sungmin and siwon's)
is really disturbing - i was crapping myself. at times like that i wonder
why the hell i live in a wooden house in the middle of nowhere.
i took that screen shot of the ghost below then deleted it as i didnt really
want it on my blog. i dont like looking at it.

but i got it back out of my recycle bin and put it in anyway.

i adore super junior. i love watching them mess around on tv
even more than watching them performing on stage.
being so used to them just d*cking about made it all the more uncomfortable
when scarey things started happening.

donghae looked like a scared little boy and where he appears to be
so sensitive a lot of the time it was almost heartbreaking to watch.
especially as it is not hammed up at all and shot as their normal reality shows are.
i had moments where i shouted "stop talking about it again youre freaking him out!"
then realised what i was doing and laughed at myself for getting so into it.

*strokes the screen in sympathy*

mystery 6 made me love donghae
heechul and kangin even more than i already did.
adorkable doesnt even cover it.

korean pop band tv. i swear i could watch it all day long.
but i think their other shows like
explorers of the human body were slightly easier to watch than this.
ahh the laughing gas. my stomach hurt so much
from laughing through that whole episode.

but whatever they do i cant fault super junior.
whether its that rediculous film they made
attack on the pin up boys where heechul, kangin and siwon
compete to get sh*t [literaly] thrown at them,
their brilliant reality tv shows like super adonis camp and full house, or the
stupid mini movies and mockumentaries they make for their bizzare tv shows
(cringing at the constant barrage of boy love and over acted horror)

mystery 6 is pure suju genius
with added horrible creepy freaky korean ghosts.

aish i love their stupid tv shows.
