ok, so i dont normally review anime or manga etc but i love kogepan.
why not make my first post of this month about him. yay.
kogepan is a children's anime with 4 minute long episodes
about a burnt bread roll and his friends.
kogepan (koge meaning burnt and pan meaning bread)
was made in a famous bakery in hokkaido
but he fell to the back of the oven when he was being cooked
and unable to be sold he now walks around
searching for some meaning in his life.
kogepan's friends inlcude cream pan, french pan, pretty pan,
chocolate pan, and strawberry pan.
he and his best friend cream pan often spend their days
getting drunk on milk and searching for a deep phillisophical
reason for existing - and being burnt.
each episode has a different mini story or adventure.
they get the fresh pretty bread in the cooling tray drunk,
kogepan has an argument and mini fight with strawberry pan,
pretty pan tries to cover herself in soot so she can be like kogepan,
kogepan and cream pan don their bindels and go on soul searching trips.
i really like it when they meet this guy:
he was left in the oven for 3 hours
and tells cream pan and kogepan
all about the hard experience it was.
the undertone for the whole story is not to worry about outward appearances
as we all have a unique personality to bring to others. there is no use in saying
what if i were different... you can have friends and enjoy life whoever you are.
basically its an awesome cartoon.
there is no excuse for not having seen it.
and there is no reason not to love it.
